Carving Lid Embellishments

     As we create each lid, we try to visualize the embellishments that will be hand carved onto the lid.

     Now that we have the correct fit and shape for the lid, it's time to head to the carving bench to finalize the top. There is a very fine line between classy and tacky and this is a driving influence throughout the carving process. Once we are satisfied in a tastefully completed carve, we begin the final step of the process.
